Who I am 

Hi, I'm Alejandro Reyes, founder of AVR Autowerks.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and putting them back together. That curiosity eventually turned into a career, and for the past seven years, I've been doing what I enjoy most—helping people keep their vehicles safe, reliable, and running the way they should.

When I'm not working on vehicles, you'll usually find me spending time with my family. My wife and I live in Grayslake with our three dogs and our cat, and they keep life entertaining! I also enjoy fishing, going to car shows, staying active, and spending time with friends and family whenever I can.

For me, being a mechanic is about more than fixing cars—it's about building relationships and helping people. Whether I'm performing routine maintenance, diagnosing a difficult problem, or helping someone buy a reliable vehicle, my goal is always the same: to provide honest service and treat every customer like family.
